For this challenge we had to use 3 designated colors, yellow, dark blue and a medium blue. I used DCWV cs and dp and copic markers to color this beautiful digi. When I first saw the colors, I knew which paper I wanted to use but when I saw the cards, Kim had used the exact same dp paper from CTMH that I was thinking of....LOL. I just realized there is a black mark on the card. Gotta go clean the scanner screen.

Day 238
Week 72 Penny Black Saturday
Week 72 at Penny Black Saturday was to make something spooktacular using at least 1 Penny Black stamp. I used the Trick or Treat set which I love. I colored the image of Frankie with Copic Markers and sponged the edges of the papers with CTMH cocoa. I used twine from my stash, a square punch from I don't know where, and made the computer generated sentiment. I gave it to my friend Bud. He laughed at the Frankenstein saying.

Day 234
Day 234 at 365 cards was Tuesday Trio. We had to use a tag, a pearl, and a ribbon on our card. I used CTMH stamps colored with Copic Markers, a Stamping up punch, 2 black pearls for "eyes" on the tag mummy (which I put torn paper on and distressed it to make it look like dirty bandages,) and a Happy Halloween ribbon from the Target $ bin. At first I only put one pearl on as an accent piece but when I was walking to my computer room to scan it, I had a "flash" about using another pearl and making eyes. I wish those flashes would come more often. LOL Have a great day everyone!

Day 233
Day 233 at 365 cards was to find a piece of fabric in your home that you love and using it for inspiration for your card. I bought 3 of these Halloween dish towels because I liked the design so much. For my card I used CTMH purple paper, brown textured paper...unknown, CTMH stamps, Copic Markers, and a ghost punch possible from Fiskars. I think I want to do some punched out leaves in fall colors to help break up the brown or some pumpkins on the lawn befor I give this card away. This was a neat challenge.

Day 221
Day 221 at 365 cards was "Imagine This: Denim" I used CTMH stamps from the Blue Jeans set and CTMH outdoor denim and cranberry ink. I used my Cuttlebug bubbles folder and I found a silver star applique to stick on (because back in my day we decorated our jeans.) I used 2 metal dots for the pockets and I put a gift card in the pocket.

Day 220
Day 220 at 365 cards was "In Stitches." We had to have cross stitching on our card. I think Pam and I must be on the same wavelength or something. I made a bunch of cross stitched ornaments to put on cards with pop dots. They can then be taken off the cardstock and hung on the tree. This will be for my neighbor as we both love Cardinals and we see which one of us can put the best food in the feeders to attract them. It's all in fun. I only had one Cardinal kit so I'm really sacrificing this for her. LOL The cross stitch was a kit that you stitched on plastic canvas. The papers are from CTMH and I'm not sure about the punch.
Macabre Monday #008 Terrifying Treats
These candy bar holders are the brain-child of Angie at http://www.mychicnscratch.com
I used CTMH paper and ink. Mine are slightly different than Angie's as I used googly eyes for the mummy, a different punch for the candy bar, and slightly different size circles for the Frankenstein eyes. I haven't put a ribbon on Frankie yet but you can see the one on the mummy. I think these are adorable. You slide the candy bar in through the punched area so it hangs out a little, it's like a match book.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge
Week 69 at Penny Black is Autumn Breezes using a Penny Black stamp and autumn colors. I used a punch I had (no manufacturer name on it) to make the leaves and the pumpkins. I used DCWV cardstack "Green" for the background, PB hedgehog (love them), Copic markers for the pumpkins and the hedgehog, CTMH cardstock for the leaves, and a Sakura gel pen for the pumpkins. The ribbon is something I had hanging around. I am going to give this to a friend who takes very good care of his lawn (almost to the point of being crazy). I put on the inside "Happy Fall! Time to rake the leaves."
Day 217
Day 217 at 365 cards was Stampin' Saturday. We had to stamp a background that was the same color as our cardstock. I used CTMH twilight cs with CTMH twilight ink for the background. The stamps are from Technique Tuesday, the ribbon is Offray, the bird paper is from DCWV "Green" cardstack. I am lovin' that cardstack :-) Now I am all caught up until tomorrow.
Day 216
Day 216 at 365 cards was Ad Inspired and had a picture of 3 tote bags. This is my take on one of them. I used black cs that was in my scraps, DCWV "Green" stack for the background with the birds, CTMH stamps for the sentiment and flowers, CTMH twilight ink, and the Swiss dots Cuttlebug folder to emboss the black cs.

Day 214
Day 214 at 365 cards was to leave white space and follow this pattern. The strips of paper are from DCWV "Old World" cardstack, the brads on the side are from Paper Wishes, and the bats on the top were punched from paint chips. It looks like it needs a big pumpkin in the middle. All my Sept. challenges are now completed....Phew!
Day 213
Day 213 at 365 cards was a paper piecing challenge using the pumpkin. You could also use face parts if you wanted to make a Jack-O-Lantern. I decided to keep mine simple. I used CTMH for the orange, white cs for the ghosts, Miss Elizabeth paper for the stem and leaf, DCWV "Old World" cardstack for the background, and ribbon from the dollar bin at Target. I also used a black gel pen to mark the pumpkin, leaf and stem.
Day 212
Day 212 at 365 cards was to put fringe on either edges of your card. A co-worker is retiring so I made this card for all of us to give to her. She's 74 yrs. old and drives a bus for developmentally disabled folks. She had one of the worst runs as far as distance, snowfall, etc. God Bless ya Kitty! The paper is DCWV "Nana's Kids" cardstack, the cs is CTMH, the fringe is actually eyelash yarn that I knit fancy scarves out of, the crocheted flower is something I made, and the brad is from my stash.

Day 211
Day 211 at 365 cards was Sketchy Sunday. I took some liberties with the design. I used CTMH paper, unmarked ribbon I got at Target, cats, pumpkins, and a bat punched out of paint chips, a charm (it's silver but looks black on here) from a kit, and Penny Black stamps. I used a $ store gel pen with sparkles to make the stitches in the corner (hard to see.)

Day 210 and Penny Black Sat. Challenge
Day 210 on 365 cards was to do some sanding on your card. I ran my CTMH yellow cs through my Cuttlebug using the hearts folder. I then sanded it with fine sandpaper. I love how the CTMH cs has the white core...makes it great for sanding and distressing.
The Penny Black challenge was to use chocolate, pink and yellow on your card along with a Penny Black sentiment or stamp. I used the hedgehog, sentiment, and bee. I used Copic markers to color the hedgehog and the bee.

Day 209
Day 208
Day 208 at 365 cards was a challenge combo. We had to use 3 challenges, 1 each from June, July and August. I used June 29, Use all 4 seasons on your card with the SU tree stamps, July 27, Sponging on the background, and August 27, Going Vintage with the little buttons. The ink is CTMH breeze and cocoa, and the cs on the back of the trees is CTMH twilight.
