Day 214 at 365 cards was to leave white space and follow this pattern. The strips of paper are from DCWV "Old World" cardstack, the brads on the side are from Paper Wishes, and the bats on the top were punched from paint chips. It looks like it needs a big pumpkin in the middle. All my Sept. challenges are now completed....Phew!

Day 213
Day 213 at 365 cards was a paper piecing challenge using the pumpkin. You could also use face parts if you wanted to make a Jack-O-Lantern. I decided to keep mine simple. I used CTMH for the orange, white cs for the ghosts, Miss Elizabeth paper for the stem and leaf, DCWV "Old World" cardstack for the background, and ribbon from the dollar bin at Target. I also used a black gel pen to mark the pumpkin, leaf and stem.
Day 212
Day 212 at 365 cards was to put fringe on either edges of your card. A co-worker is retiring so I made this card for all of us to give to her. She's 74 yrs. old and drives a bus for developmentally disabled folks. She had one of the worst runs as far as distance, snowfall, etc. God Bless ya Kitty! The paper is DCWV "Nana's Kids" cardstack, the cs is CTMH, the fringe is actually eyelash yarn that I knit fancy scarves out of, the crocheted flower is something I made, and the brad is from my stash.

Day 211
Day 211 at 365 cards was Sketchy Sunday. I took some liberties with the design. I used CTMH paper, unmarked ribbon I got at Target, cats, pumpkins, and a bat punched out of paint chips, a charm (it's silver but looks black on here) from a kit, and Penny Black stamps. I used a $ store gel pen with sparkles to make the stitches in the corner (hard to see.)

Day 210 and Penny Black Sat. Challenge
Day 210 on 365 cards was to do some sanding on your card. I ran my CTMH yellow cs through my Cuttlebug using the hearts folder. I then sanded it with fine sandpaper. I love how the CTMH cs has the white core...makes it great for sanding and distressing.
The Penny Black challenge was to use chocolate, pink and yellow on your card along with a Penny Black sentiment or stamp. I used the hedgehog, sentiment, and bee. I used Copic markers to color the hedgehog and the bee.

Day 209
Day 208
Day 208 at 365 cards was a challenge combo. We had to use 3 challenges, 1 each from June, July and August. I used June 29, Use all 4 seasons on your card with the SU tree stamps, July 27, Sponging on the background, and August 27, Going Vintage with the little buttons. The ink is CTMH breeze and cocoa, and the cs on the back of the trees is CTMH twilight.

Day 203
Day 202
Day 202 at 365 cards is "Once Upon a Time" and we had to take inspiration for our card from our favorite fairy tale. My favorite was always "The Princess and the Pea" by Hans Christian Andersen. Google it, it's a cute story. The real end is funny...."and the pea ended up in a museum. where it still is today, unless someone stole it." Some books delete that part. I used a computer image of the princess, the background paper was from DCWV, and the ribbon was from my stash.
Day 201
Day 200
Day 200 at 365 cards is "It's what's inside that counts. The inside of your card, that is." I used DCWV Old World cardstack for the background, CTMH heart stamp and some photo corners I had laying around. I cut the heart in half using a scallop punch. I'm not sure where the Miss You stamp came from.

This is my take on Day 196 at 365 cards, stamping an image and using just a touch of color. The sketch is from Penny Black blogspot. The paper is CTMH and the image is Penny Black. Here is a site offering Halloween blog candy, check it out. http://threecloversdesigns.blogspot.com/2009/08/blog-yummies.html You have until tomorrow to leave a post.

Day 195
Today at 365 cards we were supposed to show a pc. of clothing in gingham. I paper pieced the baby's diaper on this 3x3 card. The stamp is from Inkadinkado. I love the sentiment! I used Copics to color the baby's face and back. Looking at it now I think I should have paper pieced her bow. LOL! Still can't get the floaties off my scanner screen :-(
Day 194
This is my take on Day 194 at 365 cards, Imagine This...Technology. This is a copy of a photo of a small section of the Cygnus Loop supernova remnant captured by the Hubble telescope on 6/18/09 on a 4x6 card. I used my Cricut for the letters. Aren't the stars cool? I have always loved astronomy. I saw the first moonwalk (not Michael Jackson's either...LOL) so I am in my 50's. Ssshh, don't tell anyone!

DAY 193
Day 193 at 365 cards was a card recipe using 4 different patterned papers, 3 blossoms, 1 stamped image, 5 rhinestones, and a sentiment on a 5x5 card. I used DCWV papers from "Once Upon a Time." The glitter on this paper is awesome! The bling is from Darice, the flowers are some I crocheted, the sentiment is from Gina K and the hearts and flowers are from Clear Dollar Stamps.

2 Challenges
This card is my take on 2 challenges today, Mojo Monday sketch and 365 cards using the word "sweet." The striped background paper and polka dot paper is from DCWV, a stack called "Nana's Kids." The cream colored ribbon is from Jo Ann's, and the hollyhock CS is from CTMH. I still haven't been able to get those black "floaters" off my scanner, any ideas?

RIP Big Bopper
Jiles Perry Richardson was known as JP by friends and The Big Bopper to fans. He was a radio DJ, singer and songwriter in Texas. In 1959, after the success of Chantilly Lace, he took time off from the radio station where he worked to go on tour with Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, and Dion and the Belmonts which was called "The Winter Dance Party Tour." After the show the Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly took off in a plane from Clear Lake, Iowa and the plane soon crashed presumably due to the snow and ice storm. They were all killed including the pilot. Singer Don McLean later referred to this in a song as "the day the music died." We can only imagine how far he would have gone if he had lived. Love ya Big Bopper!

Day 188
Day 188 on 365 cards. It was Touchy-Feely Friday and we had to use felt or flock. I had no flock so I went with a felt fishing hat and set from Kodak. The pop-up stickers make the background paper look funny. My digital camera is broken so I used the scanner. I love the net, vest, fishing pole and especially the hat with the hooks in it. I'm giving this card to a male co-worker today who has made my first week of work go so smoothly. He likes to fish. Have a great holiday weekend.

Mmm Mmm Good!
Okay, don't laugh. My house is full of Campbell's kids stuff. I have dishes, soup mugs, fridgie magnets, tin signs, Christmas ornaments from 1982 on, knick knacks, notecards, and even a set of rubber stamps (which I can't find!) I used a soup can label, the bowl of soup off the label and a stamp from Clear Art Stamp Co. called "Little Chef." Doesn't she look like a Campbell soup kid?
This is for the 365 card challenge to use a label. Pam even recommended a soup label. LOL

Loved Ginger and Fred
I love this quote. Even though I cleaned my scanner I still have little floaties (or is it my eyes?) I used the shoe images and flower from CTMH. I'm not sure where the sentiment is from or the ribbon. I had a white pearl sticker on the flower below where it says "shoes" but it raised the card up on the scanner and distorted it. Wish my digital camera was fixed :-(
