Another Easel Card

Here is another easel card I made. My camera is broken so I have to lay it flat to much for the easel effect. I used CTMH cardstock, Tim Holtz images and spinner and I used vintage photo distressed ink. If you could lift the card up into an easel it says "Enjoy the Journey." I distressed the sides and sponged the ink over the edges to make it look old.

Always Playing With Paper #4

The challenge was to make an easel card on Always Playing With Paper. This is the first one I've done. No...I didn't do it wrong, the camera is broken so I had to scan it. Use your imagination. It folds down and catches on the brad and stands up. The cardstock is from CTMH as well as the sentiments (Happy Birthday and Make a Wish) The dp is from DCWV stack called "Nana's Kids." The paper punch is MS. These are fun to do. Think I'll make a boy one next. The easel card tutorial is on Split Coast Stampers.

JUGS apron card

Here is my apron for the Just Us Girls challenge #39 this week. I love making these! There is a template on their site that you can print out. When you pull the flower up a message saying "Forever Friends" is printed on the tag. I used some lace from JoAnn's, some brads and ribbon from my stash, some paper from Walmart, a paper punch for the flower, and CTMH argyle backgrounds stamp for the dots and the sentiment. Gotta go make more, these babies are addicting!

Lots of Challenges

I haven't even counted all the challenges this card covers...Let's see...Penny Black #107, Paper Patch, The Pink Elephant...use pink and black, and Cute Card Thursday, recycle and reuse....I punched the squares out of those paint chip samples you get at the store in the paint dept. I used a Penny Black image and colored it with Copic Markers. The inside of the card has pink paper in it and says "make a wish."

Three Challenges

I made this card with 3 challenges in mind: Crafty Ho's sketch #23, Heart 2 Heart color challenge using Black, Tulip, and Buttercup, and Pals Paper Arts "summer theme." I used CTMH paper in the specified colors, CTMH Beach Baby set (very old, rubber stamps!), Staz-on ink, and my nestabilities for the scallop. Oh no, I forgot one...make it 4 challenges...Shirley's 2 Girls challenge was to use something "old" on your card. I used the CTMH rubber stamps.

The Pink Elephant #71

Challenge #71 at TPE was a sketch. They are also using Baby Bud designs. This one is Violet. I colored her with Copic Markers, I used my Cuttlebug to cut out the scallops, I used CTMH flowers with pearls in the middle. The paper is some I had in my stash and the ribbon is from Offray.

Just Us Girls Challenge #37

This is so weird, it scanned twice!
I made this card for the JUGS #37 challenge to use a digi. I used a free digi from My Time Made Easy. Aren't they cute? They come with 3 sayings too. I used CTMH Just Chillin' paper for the top and some paper I bought at JoAnn's that looked like sand. Sometimes I use sandpaper, but I didn't have any to use today. I used Copic Markers to color Water and Waverly Wiggles.

Louby Lou Digi

This is a digi by Louby Lou called "Sitting Penny." Isn't she cute? I made it for a birthday card. I used Copic Markers to color her and I used some purple cardstock I had laying around that I embossed with divine swirls embossing folder in the Cuttlebug.

Baby Bud

This digi image is from Baby Bud Designs. I colored it with copics and used some background paper I had hanging around. I love it. Here is the site to purchase:
They are being featured this week on The Pink Elephant Blog challenge. I bought 2 and got a freebie.

Three Challenges

I had 3 challenges in mind for this card. Cute Card Thursday #116 was "anything but a square" so I made the flowerpot card; Crafty Hos challenge was to "think bright"; and Allsorts #56 was a challenge to use buttons and or lace. I used those paint "chips" you get at the store and punched out the flowers. I use them quite a bit. I'll bet those stores wonder if I'm an interior designer or something. LOL

House Mouse #71

The House Mouse Challenge called for something "Sweet". I didn't have a sweet image so I improvised. I love this image with the mouse juggling peanuts. I added a peanut brittle recipe so I could maybe squeak into this challenge. How did I do? LOL! I used Copic markers to color the image and DCWV "Old World" mat stack for the background paper (I thought it looked like wallpaper.)

The Pink Elephant #70

The Pink Elephant challenge this week was to use the color red, a bow and scallops. I'm using this card for my cousin whose birthday is on July 4th. I used CTMH cardstock, stamp, and ink. I used ribbon and paper from my stash. I'm unsure of where the punch is from.

Three Challenges

I made this card with 3 challenges in mind: Penny Black #104 Use "swirls", Allsorts #55, "strawberries and cream", and Crafty Ho's, "Anything Goes". I used paper and cardstock from CTMH and it really is strawberry colored, the printer made it look weird, more like orange. The swirls are from CTMH, the images and sentiments are Penny Black, and I colored with Copic Markers. Thanks for looking.
