Cute card Thursday and 365 Cards

Today I used a sketch from 365 cards and also completed the challenge from Cute Card Thursday to use dies and punches. I used a bird stamp from Stampin' Up along with a punch I had (unknown source). I used CTMH card stock and Hello stamp.

Cute Card Thursday and Just Us Girls

I made this card for 2 challenges. Cute Card Thursday challenge #274 "In the Summertime" and Just Us Girls challenge #194 photo inspiration.  I used CTMH stamps "Sunflower Garden" and "Say It With Style". I used CTMH terra cotta and cocoa inks. For the leaves I used Olive distress ink.

I had to post this tonight as I will probably wear it tomorrow after I put the strings in. This image is from Yucca Flats NM. It sure is a creepy sugar skull huh? I colored it with Copics and put bling on the eyes. Of course, I will have to cut eye holes so I can see!! They will be down lower. Go to Yucca Flats site. She has free digis. Day 30 Smeared and Smudged 4th Annual "31 Days of Halloween"

I love this image by Dustin Pike. The monster is the one who is afraid! Look at him, scared to death under the bed...LOL! This did not scan well. The front of the card is very, very orange! I colored the images with Copics and put some bling on the side. I found some Impression Obsession letters to make the sentiment. WOW! I have taken hours to try and get this image onto my page. It would not load in for some reason! I am so ticked right now! This is an image from Dilly Beans. I love her! She kept begging me "Color me scary!" The background paper is some I picked up at Joann's. It is fuzzy too! The argyle pattern paper is from a DCWV stack mat. It has sparkles on it but they did not show up. I colored her with Copics.

Sorry so late posting. Sometimes life gets in the way...LOL! Today I used an image from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps called Miles Mouse and Pumpkin. I colored the image with Copics. Isn't he cute? I used DCWV for the card, love those muted polka dots! The sentiment is a Studio G stamp from Joann's stamped with green Staz-On and brushed with blue distress ink (can't think of the color right now). Today I made my first ATC cards. I have been so inspired by all the greatness on this 31 day blog hop. I used a CTMH stamp (mummy) stamped with vintage photo, colored him with a gray Copic, stamped bats from Rubbernecker stamps, and finally did some masking so I could color the background. You can win some cool stuff! Today I used a digi from Rick St. Dennis, one of our sponsors. I just love this Pumpkinhead scarecrow! I colored him with Copics and fussy cut him. I arranged him on DCWV mat stack and put some bling at the bottom. On the top (hard to see) is a sentiment from Rubbernecker stamps that says "Hey Pumpkin". After I did that I thought I should have connected the dots to spell out the sentiment. Why do I always think of things after the fact???? Have fun on the hop.

Today my offering is a haunted house by Kraftin' Kimmie colored with Copics. The saying "Everything was fine til that house fell on my sister" is from Rubbernecker stamps as well as the ghostly witch flying. Background paper is from DCWV Halloween stack.  The scanner didn't pick the witch or the argyle pattern of the paper up well.  Finally, I got the stockinged feet from my stash. Just a quick card today as I am also baking cookies for the legion for tonight! I used a Studio G stamp along with a Studio G cut out card. Wish I had put 2 black jewels in the cut out for eyes...

It appears that my orange Copic marker is ready to go. I noticed some spots weren't covered and some spots smeared over where it wasn't supposed to be. This image is from Rusty Pickle called "Pumpkin eating pumpkin."  I used a Studio G. blank card that already had the pumpkin cut out. I added "Yum" to it. The card is orange but did not scan well. Welcome to day 21. I am late posting today! I used a card from Studio G that already had the spider webs embossed in it (wish I had bought more). The image and sentiment are from Kraftin' Kimmie. The bats I got at Joann's, not sure of the brand name, threw the package out. I think my black archival ink is ready for the trash. It did not print well on the sentiment :-(

Well, surprise...I had so much trouble loading these this morning and then to have the image be on top...Geez! Anyway, I had these images colored and tucked into a basket. I think the 2 square ones are from Studio G. I'm not sure about the other ones as I cannot find them in my "collection" of stamps. Hmm...could be I was "playing" at a friends and used her images. Today is Day 17, we are more than halfway through the month now. I used a purchased blank card (see the spider webs embossed around the edges?) I stamped it with archival ink. The image is from Artistic Outpost. I used glittery bats in the corners and a black flower (with a little bling in the center) as accents. She wants to hang with her friends and Mom wants her to take little bro' Trick or Treating!  Been there, done that! The little guy is from Rubbernecker stamps. I stamped, colored and fussy cut him. I think the lovely lady is from Simply Betty but I did not have it marked when I saved it. If anyone knows, let me know please so I can update my file. I like to give credit where credit is due. She was also colored with Copics and fussy cut.

Day 15 Smeared and Smudged 4th Annual "31 Days of Halloween"

I created another tag today. I used distress inks in scattered straw, tea dye and bundled sage for the ground. For the sky I used denim jeans. I stamped the tree by Rubbernecker stamps with black archival ink along with the sentiment from Studio G. I fashioned the grave stones by using a tag punch. I then distressed them with distress ink in vintage photo. I took a pencil and made faint marks across the "tombstones" to make it look like writing. I then used one of my funky dollar store paper clips on the top.

Day 14 Smeared and Smudged 4th Annual "31 Days of Halloween"

I used a manilla tag, dragged it through Distress inks (shabby shutters, scattered straw and peeled paint) and water, dried it with my heat tool and then stamped the raven stamp from Stampendous with embossing ink, sprinkled garnet embossing powder on and then heated it with my heating tool.
